Andres Aquino,
Founder and Producer of
USA International Fashion Shows, received his B.A. (summa cum laude), and M.A.
from Boston College. He has years of experience in show production, facility
management, talent management, event coordination, market research as well as
teaching, writing, theater directing and business administration.
Fashion Photographer:
As a top fashion photographer, he has covered hundreds of designer runway
shows in Europe, South America, Canada, Africa and the USA. In addition, he
has worked in international business consulting, exporting and importing as
well as fashion merchandising to the boutique market.
Entrepreneur: He is the founder of
Fashion Syndicate Press, a
world leading photographic agency
providing photos and feature articles to the fashion press worldwide since
1997. This business is complemented by a network of 25 successful web sites
related to fashion, beauty and photography. As a result of the
Internet and his travels, Mr. Aquino has developed a network of contacts in
the fashion industry throughout the world with both well-established and
up-and-coming fashion designers, editors and buyers.
Show Producer: As founder and producer
of the USA INTERNATIONAL FASHION SHOWS, Mr. Aquino oversees all aspects of
production of
Couture Fashion Week,
Bridal Fashion Week and many
other luxury fashion shows. this exciting new fashion event from sponsors to designers, from venue
selection to model casting, from technical staff operations to public
relations. The event had its successful debut in February 2003 in New York
City before an audience of international press and fashion buyers with the
participation of talented designers from Africa, Asia, Latin America, Europe, and
North America. He
produces the Champagne Fashion Brunch
(R)
on selected Sundays year long a year bringing fabulous designers from around
the world to present their collections on the catwalks of New York and other
selected cities.
Artist and Writer:
He has written short stories, plays and a collection of poetry as well as
hundreds of fine art photography and mix media. His work has been exhibited in
a number of galleries throughout North America and has been featured in
variety of newspapers and magazines.
